Cargill Plant Floor Systems Analyst in Wichita, Kansas

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Plant Floor Systems Analyst will maintain, integrate and implement software applications within our organization. We seek a professional to coordinate software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and recommend improvements to standard and moderately complex application support processes and procedures.

  • Review, analyze and prioritize incoming incident tickets and/or user requests.

  • Perform programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.

  • Keep an open channel of communication with users and respond to standard and moderately complex application support requests and needs.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR High School Diploma and four or more years of experience.

  • Two or more years of related work experience.

  • Experience with SQL.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of software deployment process.

  • Understanding of networks.

  • Experience with scan gun and bar code printers.

  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
