- Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs
- Operate boilers in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper water chemistry, alternative fuel operations, and safety equipment functionality
- Operate chiller plant in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper operating pressures, temperature differentials, and water chemistry
- Operate medical gas source equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper operating parameters, equal equipment run times, and safety equipment functionality
- Operate air distribution equipment (AHUs) in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper air pressurization, space temperatures, and equipment cleanliness
- Interact with facility management leadership for reporting
- Monitor the plant equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working order, and repair or replace equipment as it becomes necessary
- Operate facility in an effective and energy efficient manner
- Manage components of regulatory compliance as it pertains to the plant and the operation of the equipment within it as well as standards of federal and state agencies, local municipalities, fire marshals, other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Maintain all relevant documentation utilizing HCA Healthcare Engineering technology platforms to comply with all regulatory bodies
- Maintain communication with other departments of the Hospital to ensure all operations are running efficiently
- Document completion of work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using HCA Healthcares CMMS
- Maintain condition assessments ratings in HCAs CMMS platform for all major equipment
- Performs all other duties as assigned
