SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the Window Frame and Window Belt program by ensuring on time deliveries to customers, preparing schedules and work orders for ALL departments that contribute to these programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: May be assigned other duties as required or needed
- Create, schedule and release work orders for production to ensure Customer due dates are met for on time delivery. This will include both window frame kits and window belt production.
- Perform liaison activities to ensure released work orders reflect current specifications and quantities
- Schedule and release work orders to support on time deliveries for window frame kits that are shipped to Spirit direct and to the Window Belt Assembly department
- Document forging identification, source and certification on work orders and issue items per BOM to each work order as required
- Track work orders for both window frames and window belts, making sure to coordinate with management that you have up to date status as needed
- Track Window Belt assemblies including components received from Spirit, window frame kits assigned, and finished assemblies shipped to Spirit
- Coordinate with frames, purchasing and quality departments for the shipping/receiving of frames to and from outside processing
- Input customer orders, create order verifications, prepare shipping documents and invoices for both the window belts and frame kits shipments to the customer ensuring accuracy of quantities, part numbers, lot numbers and ship to addresses
- Conduct inventory counts of frames, forgings and hardware that are on hand at the main campus
- Maintain accurate inventory records and departmental production records
