Koch Ag and Energy Solutionsis seeking a motivated self-starter for our Project Engineering Leader role inWichita, KS. The Project Engineering Leader will manage capital project and major maintenance for approximately 6 manufacturing facilities and 25 anhydrous ammonia and specialty fertilizer facilities. This role reports to the Operations Excellence Engineering Leader. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

+ Coordinating activities and assign appropriate resources in alignment with projects and priorities of the facilities and terminals.

n

+ Ensuring that capital and expense projects are scoped, budgeted, evaluated, approved and executed in a safe, timely, cost-efficient and technically acceptable manner following the disciplined phased project process.

n

+ Managing engineering activities for design, procurement and installation of process systems, equipment, engineered structures, buildings, electrical and control systems for the facility

n

+ Capture regulatory and internal needs for safety and compliance, including requirements on codes, permits, and process safety management, for new and retrofit work and repairs

n

+ Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of up to 8 project managers.

n

+ Understand ?what good looks like? and help build capabilities across the facilities and terminals on constructability, construction readiness, TA-Project Integration, and Turnover and Commissioning planning.

+ Monitor team performance from conceptual phase through construction execution, budget reconciliation and analysis of project performance

n

+ Lead the team to actively develop and maintain systems which enhance the consistency and accuracy of project information.

What You Will Need:

+ 10+ years' leadership experience in project management, engineering, or an applicable capacity at a chemical plant, petro-chemical plant, refinery, ammonia, or similar industry

n

+ Strong demonstrated commitment to Safety, Environmental Compliance, Plant Reliability, and Production Excellence

n

+ Development and successful implementation of major change initiatives

n

+ Proven leadership skills, organizational skills, high work standards, strong technical abilities, strong business skills, and personal accountability.

n

+ Working knowledge of ASME, API, OSHA, and NEC

n

+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management.
