for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties. Works directly
under the supervision of the Quality Manager.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Inspects parts and assemblies in various stages of the manufacturing process to
ensure conformity with specifications by visual inspection, measurement, and
testing.
2. Examines production documents to ensure that all assembly, inspection, and
testing steps were performed according to specifications.
3. Performs final inspections on manufactured articles and gathers work order
records ensuring paperwork is complete and acceptable and parts are ready for
shipping.
4. Compiles failure/rejection data for analysis by Quality Manager.
5. Presents FAIRs to customer representatives for review and approval.
6. Interfaces with Engineering, Production, and Quality on process and product
failures.
7. Investigates nonconforming materials and prepares documentation for Material
Review Board.
