1st shift- shift will vary depending on clients needJob Duties:
+ Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies
+ Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, industry standards, and specifications.
+ Read and interpret models (Catia), Drawings, and Parts lists
+ Apply attention to detail to Drawings, Production Processes, Work Orders, etc
+ Verifies completion of Quality documents and accurate representation of product flow throughout the process
+ Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, height gage, and dial indicators
+ Process NCR for parts returned by customers for non-conformances
+ Process NCR for orders noting any discrepancies identified
Requirements:
+ 3+ years’ practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies
+ 1+ years’ experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gages
+ Able to read, analyze, and interpret blue prints, general procedures, OEM specifications and government regulations
+ Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard
+ Detail oriented, team player, and very organized with the ability to multi-task
+ Proficient in MS Office applications
+ Excellent comprehension of machining process
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Flexible schedule to work overtime and shift work as needed
+ 3+ years’ experience performing inspections in aerospace or military / defense manufacturing, preferred
