Aerotek Quality Inspector in Wichita, Kansas

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will perform day-to-day first part and lot inspection of products. You will use various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, plug, thread gauges, digital comparator, and FARO Arm with Verisurf software. You will read customer engineering drawings, part lists, OPSS, and work orders to determine requirements, complete First Article Inspection Reports, support production personnel with inspection issues, and disposition Reject tags using an ERP system for nonconforming products. You will also document inspections in the daily catch log.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, plug, thread gauges, digital comparator, FARO Arm with Verisurf software)

  • Ability to read and interpret customer engineering drawings, part lists, OPSS, and specifications

  • Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports

  • Experience in a machine shop or machine/fabricated components manufacturing facility

Soft Skills

  • Ability to perform consistent and accurate inspections

  • Timely and detailed inspection capabilities

  • Organized with good record-keeping skills

  • Accurate documentation and completion of duties.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.
