Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS
Key Accountabilities
Leads and directs quality organizations or provide cross-functional quality integration leadership for acquire, define, produce or service processes
Establishes, oversees, and administers processes, policies, and best practices, and determines resource requirements, acquisition, redeployment, improvement plans and quality measures
Interfaces with other organizations, external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project and program priorities through all phases in the product or service life cycle
Provides organizational vision and strategic plan, quality policies, processes, and procedures, as well as process improvements and prevention measures
Communicates, educates, trains and coaches customers, suppliers, and internal personnel regarding Quality policies, processes and procedures
Provides cross-functional leadership and Quality technical expertise
Program Baseline Responsibilities
Manage program quality requirements by aligning efforts to the customer requirements, updating the Quality Plan, and overseeing product acceptance
Manage Customer Expectations by establishing program cadence and developing, controlling, and maintaining program communications/presentations
Manage Quality Resources
Manage Quality Execution through the IMS, EVM
Manage Root Cause and Corrective
Accountablities
The Quality FLM is accountable to the Quality Senior Manager for Quality performance including cross-program communications, facilitation of program-level boards (PCAB), and performance reporting against program-level objectives and application of consistent processes across program teams
The Quality FLM is accountable to supporting Functional Managers to communicate applicable quality requirements, identify performance issues and implement improvements/corrective actions
Qualifications
Requirements:
This role requires US Citizenship.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval.
3+ years’ experience in assembly quality, quality leadership, or comparable role
Preferred Qualifications:
Active security clearance
Bachelor's degree
ASQ Certification (American Society for Quality)
Proficient in MS Office
