- Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs.
- Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
- Performs procedures and assesses patients throughout and responds to patient needs as appropriate
- Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed
- Performs all computer and PACS functions
- Assists Radiologists and Medical Staff during angiographic interventional and special procedures; able to scrub and assist physicians in the invasive procedures, as necessary
- Demonstrates understanding of interventional supplies and equipment operation
- Participates in the improvement of operational functions of the department
- Monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care and practices identifying opportunities for improvement through collaboration
- Performs all other duties as assigned
