PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Secure, plan and execute Reality U events
- Recruit and retain volunteers to serve at Reality U events at the school sites
- Facilitate set-up and tear down of Reality U events
- Conduct training with volunteers the day of the event
- Provide orientation with students before the event and debrief at the conclusion
- Plan, design, and update program materials and communication processes
- Promote Reality U at local and statewide conferences
- Other duties as assigned by the RU Director
PRIMARY SKILLS:
- Ability to collaborate with school principals, district leadership, and community partners
- A proven track record in marketing, communications, event planning, and volunteer recruitment
- Self-starter and results-driven professional with exceptional organizational and planning skills, juggling many priorities
- High level of integrity
- Charismatic and motivated to go the extra mile to get the job done
- Passionate about connecting with students and contributing to their educational success
- Ability to consistently follow through on efforts & communication
- High commitment to excellent customer service
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with students, partners and school district personnel
