Adecco US, Inc. Receiving Clerk in Wichita, Kansas
Adecco is assisting a national client in aviation with their need to fill a Receiving Clerk position in Wichita, KS. This position is temporary and starts immediately.
Hourly Payrate - $18.00
Work Hours - 7AM to 3:30PM, M-F
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming shipments.
More specific duties include:
Receive supplies and materials for overhaul and rewind areas; reviews purchase orders to ensure appropriate supplies and/or materials have been received. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Reviews paperwork for received items; issues work order; routes to appropriate department.
Operates hand truck or forklift to unload shipments from trucks.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Six months to one years previous receiving or warehouse experience.
Good math skills
Great communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, understand blue prints and write simple correspondence.
Good problem solving skills and able to perform repetitive tasks.
Able to operate the software and equipment used in the department, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Siteline.
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
Must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, occasionally kneel or crouch down as well as frequently required to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and/or push or pull up to 100 pounds.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
