Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary ICU


Currently recruiting a full-time nights Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary ICU to work in Wichita, Kansas in a 760-bed medical center that is the choice for thousands and thousands of people in Kansas and northern Oklahoma.

Job Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary ICU:

  • You will perform and oversee care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursing process.

  • Your role must possess strong assessment and clinical skills to oversee and care for patients with a multitude of disorders to include; Heart Failure, Respiratory distress, Sepsis, Multisystem Organ Failure, Neurosurgical Procedures, Invasive Cardiac Procedures, Trauma, MI, Strokes and other patients meeting ICU admissions criteria.

  • You will excel at the following skills, interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking and decision making.

  • You will serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

    Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary ICU:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Current license in Kansas or active compact license.

  • BLS and ACLS (BLS required to start).

  • One year of experience preferred, experience in LTC and case managers who have worked floor nursing will be considered. (No prison nurses will be considered).

    Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary ICU:

  • Salary: $23.50-$33.50 p/hr, depending on years of experience.

  • Shifts diffs of $3.25 for nights; $4.50 for weekends.

  • Sign on bonus or relo of $5k.

  • Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.

  • PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
