* JOB SUMMARY: *
Textron Aviation is looking for an experienced SAP Architect. The SAP Architect will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, developing various objects, documenting technical solutions, testing solutions, supporting implementations, and performing production support.
This role is contingent upon award of a US government contract to the Company.
* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Architect technical solutions in SAP Environment
Responsible for documenting and testing all development objects in line with audit requirements
Conducts technical design in conjunction with functional resources
Participate in project planning by estimating time for technical solutions to be developed
Understand the integration of entire SAP landscape across multiple environments
Participate in architecture, implementation, design, administration, maintenance, documentation and support of SAP projects and enhancements
Mentors and develops more junior team members regarding new technologies and methodologies in the SAP space
Have knowledge of and promote SAP best practices for new projects
Participate in system and application upgrades, enhancements and resolutions
* EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: *
Bachelor’s Degree required in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience developing/supporting an SAP environment
* QUALIFICATIONS: *
Familiar withECC 6.0 (EHP8 SPS4)
Experience with S4/HANAis not a requirement, however itis a plus.
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Knowledge of ABAP, OOP, OData, CDS Views
IT experience specifically in SAP development and support
Strong business acumen and business process knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses good organizational and time management skills.
