Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage and approve the design and architecture of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry best practices, and technical standards.

  • Define data models, workflows, data validation rules, and integration points to support master data management processes.

  • Responsible for running whole MDG Vendor Master workshop along with Implementation approach with business team

  • Deep Knowledge of SAP PTP Process specially around Vendor Master side

  • Necessary support to be provided to technical team and guidance to project teams, including SAP MDG consultants, developers, and analysts. Define technical strategies, standards, and best practices for SAP MDG implementations.

  • Global collaboration with business stakeholders to gather and analyses requirements related to master data management, data governance, and data quality. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs for SAP MDG solutions.

  • Ensure that system configurations adhere to architectural principles and design guidelines and oversee the configuration and customization of SAP MDG modules to meet business needs.

  • Integration with SAP MDG and other SAP / non-SAP systems, including ERP and BI systems strategies and implement integrations using SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web services.

  • Develop testing strategies and oversee quality assurance activities for SAP MDG implementations. Ensure that the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements through thorough testing and validation.

  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of SAP MDG solutions within the organization. Communicate changes, benefits, and impacts to relevant stakeholders and manage resistance to change effectively.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and IT teams on SAP MDG functionalities, best practices, and maintenance procedures. Ensure that users are proficient in using the solution and are able to maintain it effectively.

  • Document architectural designs, configurations, customizations, and integration specifications for SAP MDG solutions. Establish governance processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 10-15 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and architecture.

  • Deep expertise in SAP MDG module for Vendor

  • Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and data governance principles

  • Proficiency in SAP integration techniques like IDOC, SOA, RFC, API's and DRF.

  • Strong functional understanding of master data, integration aspects and ECC modules (MM, SOTC and Finance).

  • Strong experience in End-to-End functionalities of MDG Tools

  • Experience in Data Migrations and the ETL process.

  • Expertise in MDG Consolidation and Mass processing configurations

  • Good understanding of Data Quality Management (DQM) and implementation strategies

  • Ability to analyze the complex requirements and provide Fit-to-Standard solution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with business stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations.

  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP MDG Certification (S/4 Hana version).

  • Experience with project management including Agile / Scrum methodologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills interacting with senior leaders.
