Job Title: SchedulerJob Description
The Scheduler will work closely with shop build teams to ensure that parts are completed and delivered ahead of schedule. The role requires attending meetings, coordinating experimental activities with the Experimental/Supply Chain and Engineering, and making independent decisions. The Scheduler will establish and manage priorities on experimental production orders, maintain tool shortage reports, and work with various functional areas to address design changes, late parts, or other issues.
Responsibilities
Work in concert with shop build teams to ensure parts are completed and delivered to POU ahead of schedule.
Attend meetings and coordinate experimental activities closely with the Experimental/Supply Chain and Engineering.
Work independently and make responsible decisions.
Establish and manage priorities on experimental production orders based on tool/schedule need dates.
Work with experimental manufacturing to ensure priorities are aligned with capacity and adjust as needed.
Maintain tool shortage reports and reconcile all shortages accordingly.
Work closely with experimental functional areas such as SCM, engineering, program management, and flight test to identify design changes, late parts, or other issues.
Take appropriate action to reconcile and limit risk to the build. Attend meetings as requested to coordinate risk items.
Communicate with the hot parts team to get ECDs on critical parts. Work with build teams to communicate risk and potential contingency plans.
Work with the planning team to communicate scrap parts, changes in planning needed, and reorders.
Analyze material and part shortage lists to determine impact on schedules and capacity of assigned area.
Run SAP shopping cart to issue pick lists to crib when shop is ready for parts to be pulled and delivered to POU.
Perform all necessary SAP transactions to keep SAP record keeping accurate.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
3 years of SAP experience
2 years of Scheduling experience
2 years of experience using an MRP system
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pick lists, planner, Excel, SAP, MRP, and aviation
Work Environment
The Scheduler will work in a side office for 80% of the time and spend the remaining time on the shop floor coordinating with leads to ensure parts are arriving according to schedule. The team size is 6 members, and the shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
