We?re looking for a candidate that fosters teamworkand has the ability to find solutions to problems in the absence of rigid specifications and standards.A high level of initiative and critical thinking skills will be essential as you manage technical projects and find and communicate solutions to customers, peers, and management. nn

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

nnn


+ Designing, implementing & commissioning terminal instrumentation, automation systems, process control solutions, and electrical power distribution systems

n

+ Performing PLC/HMI programming, equipment configuration, and design and drawing reviews

n

+ Managing electrical and automation projects n


+ Define scope of work

n

+ Develop estimates & project schedules

n

+ Develop build packages

n

+ Track costs and mitigate risks

n

+ Oversee contractors and other team resources

n

+ Provide startup and commissioning support

n


n

+ Providing production support and troubleshooting for terminal automation systems

n

+ Taking part in a 24/7 on-call rotation

n

What You Will Need:

nnBasic Qualifications:n


+ Technical or bachelor?s degree in an electrical or computer engineering discipline OR 7+ years of work experience in the electrical engineering field

n

+ 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation and/or control systems (including troubleshooting)

n

+ Experience managing projects

n

+ Willing and able to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation (Typically 5 weeks/year)

n

+ Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time (travel averages around 25-30% but can have sustained peaks above that and is driven by project schedu e and workload)

n

What Will Put You Ahead?

nnPreferred Qualifications:n


+ Experience supporting the petrochemicals industry and/or fuel and asphalt terminals

n

+ Experience with NFPA 70E and Electrical Safe Work Programs

n

+ Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70)

n

+ Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, and Delta V systems

n

+ Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems and Hazard Analysis Methods

n

+ Experience managing $1MM+ projects

n
