Description
SENIOR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Job Overview: The Senior Learning and Development Specialist promotes financial literacy education on behalf of the bank both within the company as well as in the community, provides support to employees for career development through one-on-one development coaching and coordinating cross-departmental job-shadowing opportunities, and delivers internal training related to Predictive Index and other tools designed to increase self-awareness.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Facilitating impactful and engaging learning experiences related to Financial Literacy, career development, and professional development.
Conducting training in an in-person and virtual classroom setting.
Adapting facilitation techniques to accommodate various learning styles.
Providing one-on-one remediation as necessary.
Completion of all pre-training and post-training administrative tasks.
Promoting financial wellness initiatives within the community.
Building strategic partnerships with organizations and companies.
Facilitating in-person and virtual community workshops, while adapting those techniques to audiences ranging from youth through older adults.
Providing coaching and on-site support to employees servicing as Financial Literacy Specialists by assisting with development of written financial wellness educational content.
Facilitate in-person training in a classroom setting centered on career development and developing self-awareness.
Requirements for the position include:
A high school diploma (or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree in training or related field (waived in lieu of experience).
5+ years of training experience.
3+ years of customer service experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including superior presentation skills.
Self-driven with an ability to prioritize and work independently.
Preferred requirements for this position include:
1+ years of formal financial literacy educational experience.
1+ years of banking experience.
