VMware Senior Manager, N&S Sales Acceleration - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Wichita, Kansas

As VMWare’s Product Portfolio evolves and broadens, VMWare has developed a trans-formative specialist sales strategy that requires dedicated operational support to maximize our field’s productivity in selling solutions. This is an Analyst or potentially Senior Analyst level role, within Global Sales Operations, and the ideal candidate would be expected to be able to work strategically and effectively to build & manage various processes and systems and provide focused business analysis of all key critical success factors and Key Performance Indicators for Global and Americas NSX Leadership. This role requires communication and collaboration with many departments throughout the company and potentially outside partners and/or vendors. Ideal candidates are analytical, process oriented, energetic, and enjoy working in a high growth, data and operationally driven environment. He or she should have a strong business understanding, good verbal and written communication skills and top-notch Excel and data manipulation skills as well as strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Driving, facilitating and consolidating WW Forecast and other Team cadences

• Reporting and Analysis: provide various forms of business performance analysis and reporting to the key stakeholders in Global and Americas Velocloud Sales Leadership; identify additional reporting and analysis needs, and work with the various systems and cross-functional Operations teams to develop the appropriate reporting or dashboard solutions; extend where possible to enable self-service solutions for Field representatives

• Business and Technical Business Process Workflow: analyzing, developing and refining business process workflows within Velocloud Specialist Product areas: work with appropriate departments to develop required tools and documentation

• Support Global and Americas Velocloud Product Business Planning; including targets for Bookings and Headcount and related Investment Plans in partnership with Finance

• Assist with the weekly Pipeline and Forecast Management Cadence

• Provide Business Operational support and co-ordination for Specialist Product programs, promotions, pricing and Go-To-Market initiatives as requested by leadership; this will include product allocations from VMware credit programs and PSO Credit allocations

• Take responsibility for clear, concise onboarding material for New Hires, working in partnership with Sales Leadership, HR and Global Field Readiness organizations

• Past experience in a Sales Operations role

• System oriented with strong analytical tool skills; thorough SFDC, Excel, Commission tools

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with attention to detail
