Robert Half Senior Network Engineer in Wichita, Kansas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer in Savannah, Georgia. This role is in the tech industry, where the selected professional will be responsible for the management and execution of network project infrastructure deployment. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be working with a variety of network security devices and have a strong understanding of Wireless, LAN, and WAN.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level understanding and management of Wireless, LAN, and WAN.

• Handle enterprise networks and manage network security devices such as firewalls, proxies, and IPS devices.

• Conduct scoping, design, and execution of network project infrastructure deployment.

• Manage a multi-vendor WAN and multi-protocol routing.

• Utilize your knowledge of Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.

• Prepare BOM, HLD, and LLD.

• Leverage your Cisco IOS knowledge, including routing (OSPF), switching, and QoS experience.

• Apply your security knowledge, including Palo Alto or Fortinet Knowledge.

• Work on large scale projects, demonstrating your depth of experience and skills.

• Create and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.

• Proficient knowledge and experience with Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, and Configuration Management.

• Demonstrated experience with Deployments, CCNA Technologies, Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, Network+, and Comptia Security+.

• Advanced understanding of SD-WAN, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Wireless LAN, and WAN - Wide Area Network.

• Experience with WAN Technologies, Enterprise Network, Meraki, and Bill of materials (BOM) is essential.

• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor network systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues.

• Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructures.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and explain complex network concepts to non-technical colleagues.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) would be advantageous.
