Important Information

This position is based in Wichita, KS and it provides relocation support within the USA if required.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Sr. Reliability Engineer will provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. In this role, you will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deploy complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.

  • Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.

  • Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.

  • Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.

  • Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.

  • Oversee the specific lubrication program to ensure refinement.

  • Partner with appropriate people and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Proven knowledge in the application of reliability tools

  • Training in predictive maintenance technologies (Lubrication, Vibration, UE)

  • Knowledge in maintenance process management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar certification

  • Training and knowledge of management of the proactive maintenance model

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience or training of RCA

  • Experience in soy bean crushing and/or Biodiesel plants.
