Directly responsible for the management and/or supervision of the Service Department in its entirety as it relates to the goals of your perspective branch and Branch Manager.
+ Working with recruitment and HR to maintain staff levels that appropriately support customer demand.
+ Working directly with personnel to ensure proper job function performance.
+ Maintaining continuous personnel improvement processes that include cross training and management support.
+ Communicating effectively with personnel to promote growth and high morale.
+ Working with other department managers to encourage cross departmental workflow.
DEPARTMENTAL PROCESS AND PROCEDURE
+ Maintaining and managing inventory levels that both enhance customer service and maintain corporate goals.
+ Ensuring established policies and procedures are being followed and performed accordingly.
+ Assisting with policy and procedure enhancements to encourage an environment that promotes an ease of business.
+ Hold weekly departmental meetings to address comments, questions and/or concerns as it relates to productivity of the department.
+ Regularly schedule time to spend in the market managing, maintaining and increasing customer relationships.
+ Regularly review the Monthly Operating Statement (M.O.S.) to measure:
+ Departmental financial state (forecast vs. current)
+ Areas for improvement
+ Staffing levels
+ Evaluating the market to determine appropriate means for gaining market share.
QUALIFICATIONS & nbsp;
+ Complete and maintain all factory certifications within 180 days of original date of hire.
+ Bachelor’s degree recommended
+ Excellent verbal and written communication
+ Proactive thinking
