Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate all shipping and part mark functions.
- Coordinate driving schedule and ensure deliveries are made on time and at the customer requests
- Coordinate packaging associate schedule and ensure coverage at all times
- Delivers product to the customer and pick up material in the company truck
- Receive, pack, and ship items in a manner that meets all customer expectations
- Assisting with pulling inventory and preparing product for shipment
- Works with final inspection group to coordinate packaging and shipment of completed product from daily ship list
- Responsible for computer transactions for customer, fedx, UPS shipments that includes creation of bar code labels and shipping paperwork
- Monitor supplier status of completed orders that are ready for pickup
- Performs visual checks, counting of parts and verification activities against purchase order and certifications upon receipt
- Process and clocking of orders as necessary in ERP and MRP systems
- Moves product to next operation in accordance with the job traveler paperwork and stages in the appropriate department
- Helps with maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies in the area.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
