POSITION SUMMARY
Provides all duties as required as part of the Information Technology department to maintain and enhance systems support service in support of customer requirements and Integras goals and initiatives. Proactively identifies what needs to be developed, how it needs to be developed and establishes appropriate timelines, involving the appropriate key stakeholders as needed. This position is located in Wichita, Kansas. You must be able to work on site full time. Due to ITAR Compliance regulations, you must be a US Citizen or a green card holder. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
- Master an understanding of our business model and its relation to our current data systems.
- Act as a technical design resource for cross-functional team projects. Work with IT Business Analysts to develop technical design specifications appropriate to IT Development Team using Agile Methodology.
- As appropriate, design technical specifications to allow parallel development paths and initial development by the Solution Architect. Provide initial technical design documents to the development team.
- Review all enhancements for technical and business process feasibility and provide feedback to project owners when it is not.
- Determine and maintain development standards and coding practices based on industry standards. Work with the Development team manager to implement revisions.
- Review the finished project, verify technical documentation and authorize deployment of production solution.
- Cross-functionally coordinate with IT Business Analysts/Training team for training plan and initial support of training materials/sessions.
- Research new methodologies and/or industry tools to provide additional functionality or improved tools within solutions.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing, improve existing computer systems, and suggest other possible solutions.
- Confer with coworkers of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data can best be summarized, and desired formatting for reports.
- Study current information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
- Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.
