Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering and food service management, with exceptional leadership and culinary skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute menus for various events and occasions, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency

  • Monitor food production to meet customer demand while minimizing waste

  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen area

  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering services for special events

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in catering, menu planning, and food service management

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food products

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
