SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

With a commitment to excellence, the candidate for this position will be responsible for assisting the Special Events Manager with the planning and execution of large scale and signature special events. The candidate for this position will coordinate year-round ticket opportunities and carry out work in support of our community partners and team projects. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting with concept creation, site selection, budget development, vendor coordination, expense management, RSVPs, setup, breakdown, hospitality and post event evaluation.

Requirements for the position include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of three years demonstrated event experience. The candidate must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The candidate must have strong verbal and communication skills, a knack for problem solving and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time while making decisions quickly and accurately. The ability to anticipate needs required. Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours and travel when necessary is required
