We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Bachelor\'s degree in Software Engineering or related Engineering field. You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You\'ll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Must-haves:

• Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
• ThoroughunderstandingofComputer Aided Engineering tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Fluency in object oriented languages like: Java, C++, C#
• Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred:

• Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
• Experience with embedded sys ems and designing & developing software that interacts with hardware
• Experience with DO-178/MIL-STD-882 and applicable Design Assurance Level (DAL) certifications
• Experience in Agile development
• Proficient with data structures
• Automate testing and command execution using a scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell Script, etc)
• Active Top Secret Clearance

Estimated Starting Salary Range: \$120,552.10 - \$165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
