Position Specific Responsibilities

Unlike the typical college advising, youll dive deep into the unique needs of our online and adult learners. Youll be their go-to guru for preventing burnout and reigniting their reason for pursuing higher ed for themselves. Host live webinars & in-person events, lead campaigns through our Navigate system, & hold one-on-one and group sessions to help students untangle their internal narratives and guide them towards success. We need your ability to craft engaging content & reach students across various social media platforms. Your creativity and ability to resonate with diverse audiences will shine here. Your mission is to re-engage almost graduates and help them find their path to completion.\ \ Who you need to be for success in this role:
- - On-Camera comfortability & engaging, as you will be the face of all new content while working with your student caseload too. - Energetic & professional communication related to striking up calls with students as well as content representing the program. - Be innovative since you create or find novel ways to support & inspire others. - Receptive & rapport builder to connect with students as well as set up relevant workshops to the trends of the population ensuring they are impactful.

Summary of Responsibilities
Conducts outreach campaigns, counsels with college(s), and advises diverse, at-risk student populations regarding their academic plans, progress, and academic and career goals in order to assist students in making personal education decisions and meeting graduation requirements. Provides risk assessments and interprets student needs for assigned areas. Provides individualized service and assistance while maintaining confidentiality while focusing on student success.
Essential Functions
Provides student support with life skills development, identification and elimination of retention barriers and academic programs. Facilitates connections with campus and community services and resources when needed.\ Provides support to assigned academic college(s) and faculty on program-specific strategic enrollment management and retention goals and initiatives.\ Identifies specific student populations, conducts outreach campaigns and supports campus-wide retention initiatives.
