The Technical Training Instructor will establish, direct, plan, develop, and implement technical product training programs for customers, employees, and/or field support personnel.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Utilize current curriculum / instructor guides to confidently present technical training which may include standard, repeatable modules, as well as customized and new product modules.

  • Work with new employees throughout the assembly process in providing the necessary coaching to help become successful.

  • Provide assistance and support to all divisions in helping determine their training needs and develop and conduct their training programs.

  • Facilitate multiple classes related to the Onboarding process.

  • Conduct certification training sessions, product demonstrations, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

  • Administers tests.

  • Develop lesson plans and training materials, designs product demonstrations, develops course content, determines methodology, and coordinates the development of training aids.

  • Continuously revise lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

  • Personnel matters: Is or becomes familiar with policies and procedures, surveys and market data, employee data, laws and regulations, labor agreements, business plans, labor forecasts, recruiting data, and business principles, as they relate to personnel matters.

  • Collaborates with other employees of the human resources organization to analyze and design processes and systems to effectively attract, reward, and motivate Spirit's workforce.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience with sheet metal and/or composites.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (or equivalent), specifically Power Point, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience with authoring tools/software (Adobe Captivate, Articulate, iSpring, Elucidat, Easygenerator, etc.) to create training materials and interactive learning content.

  • Experience with instructing, training, mentoring or coaching employees/staff.

  • Strong with organizational skills and managing projects.

  • Ability to work/communicate with all levels of employee and management.

  • Ability to handle a variety of responsibilities with little to no supervision.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert of their area of expertise.

  • Experience developing course content using Addie Model

  • Desire to inspire, relate, motivate, and encourage learners.

  • D esire to inspire, relate, motivate, and encourage learners.

  • Ability to set goals/expectations and provide feedback.

  • Familiar with instructional design models that include analysis, design, development and evaluation.

  • Experience with video recording software (Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, etc.).

  • Experience with audio recording software (Audition, Pro Tools, etc).
