OurTruck Technicianis primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing on-highway trucks to ensure the customer receives maximum value for work performed.

Hourly Base Rate: \$23.24 \$55.00 / hour

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Perform all levels of repairand preventative maintenance for on-highway trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations forrepairsand make all critical repairs and adjustments
• Remove and install parts,disassembleand assemble components and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs
• Travel isrequiredfor training and/or toassistat other locations.

OurIdealCandidate:

• Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
• Knowledge of use of various on-highway trucks
• Must be able to read andcomprehendspecifications, service and parts literature, technicalbulletinsand other related publications
• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL or the ability to obtain one

WhatWillPutYouAhead:

• Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically withClass 8 trucks)
• Stable work history
• All makes and models of engine rebuilds
• Class A CDL
