Position Specific Responsibilities
Join a team at the center of student life, literally. The Housing & Residence Life Department is on the lookout for a tech-savvy individual eager to support our team in various software-related tasks. Your main functions in this role will be using & becoming an expert user of StarRez & Salto applications. Having a natural ability to learn systems quickly & not being afraid to teach yourself those is at the top of the list for us! You will ensure reporting, billing & assignments occur timely for student & the teams needs. Contribute to efficient use of applications &/or systems by discovering improvements or alternative solutions. Act as a liaison for all areas of Housing & Residence Life by clearly communicating said discoveries, keeping everyone apprised.\ If this speaks to you, your skills & your goals in a career, please apply now.
Summary of Responsibilities
Manages assigned department program(s) to meet business objectives. Oversees program activities, which may include project schedules, budget tracking and development, and project and/or program administration. Administers asset management inventory system for the programs. Provide a range of technical services necessary for the operation of the university client devices. Maintain and manage IT-related projects.
Essential Functions
- - Collaborates with senior leaders to develop program goals and infrastructure to align with defined business strategy. Regularly contacts participants, and partners to ensure program success. - Creates new or troubleshoots and improves upon existing processes, procedures or systems to meet program goals. Develops metrics to measure program success against program goals. - Manages program by creating program plans, grant proposals, management tools, and/or reporting capabilities. Performs project research and develops plans to use the program resources effectively. - Configures and maintains various computer devices. - Communicates and documents program quality outcomes and progress metrics to senior program leaders. Addresses and resolves major or complex issues to ensure program goals remain on track. - Implements, updates, and maintains asset management systems and databases, tracking the life cycle of all assets for the program. - Manages and coordinates activities or projects involving technological changes.
Serve as a support for other areas of Client Services as appropriate.
