Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker who will split their time equally between general warehouse duties and machine operation. Training will be provided on-site for machine operation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse duties such as loading, picking, and material handling.

  • Operate forklifts and other machinery as trained on site.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Ensure the production area is organized and clean.

  • Assist in production processes as required.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in warehouse operations.

  • Familiarity with forklift operation.

  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.

  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.

  • Experience in loading and picking items.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in machine operation is advantageous.

  • Ability to work on different shifts as required.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a steel company setup similar to SSA or CPS. The job offers multiple shifts: 1st shift (5am - 1:30pm), 2nd shift (1:30pm - 9:00pm) with a $.75 shift differential, and 3rd shift (9pm - 5:30am) with a $1.25 shift differential. The facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness and safety, and employees are expected to adhere to these standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.50
