The Staffing Specialist is responsible for performing recruiting and staffing functions to support the daily operations of Western Industries Plastic Products, LLC. This position will build relationships to aid in superior customer service and to take initiative in growing the companys reputation as a premier employer within the job-seeker community.
Essential Function

- Advertising open positions across multiple channels
- Passively recruit candidates through the use of social media, job boards, college/university connections and personnel contacts
- Utilize best practices to review, pre-screen, schedule, interview, and select candidates
- Resolving issues such as interview cancellations and reschedules
- Following up with candidates during the recruitment process, like shortlisting callbacks or rejection emails
- Assisting successful candidates with onboarding process, including preparing documents and coordinating orientation
- Support all internal and external employment related inquires or requests
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain candidate database and handle relevant paperwork
- Performing general office duties such as organizing, managing supply inventory, greeting clients, and scheduling meetings/events
- All other duties as assigned
