Preferred Family Healthcare Food Service Supervisor in Winfield, Kansas

Your role at PFH:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will supervise others while performing work of complex food preparation on a large-scale, commercial-type basis.

You will:

  • Plan menus including serving size proportions and minimum levels of caloric nutritional intake.

  • Conduct inventories as needed to insure meal preparation.

  • Maintain a “Daily Menu Substitution Log”. File menus for at least the past thirty (30) days.

  • Supervise kitchen and dining room clean up.

  • Purchase food and necessary supplies within budgetary requirements.

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies (ie Health Department, CSTAR, DOA, etc.)

  • Maintain records to satisfy the requirements of the Free & Reduced Meal Program with USDA.

We think you'd be great for this role if you have:

  • Evidence of at least one (1) year of responsible employment history

  • A minimum of one (1) year paid experience in food preparation

  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience
