Newell Brands Grinder Maintenance Technician in Winfield, Kansas
Position Title: Grinder Maintenance Tech
Reports to: Setup, Maintenance, Blow Mold Process Leader
Work Schedule: M-F 8 hours or as needed
Location: Winfield, KS
The Grinder Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of grinder condition. Grinder technician will monitor, maintain, and repair grinders, airlocks, blades, etc.
Measure, inspect, repair and replace grinder blades, bed knives, shredders, enclosures, airlocks, etc.
Perform TPM on grinders and related auxiliary equipment.
Other duties as assigned by lead/supervisor/leader.
Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as required including overtime as needed.
Minimum of one-year stable and verifiable work history.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools.
Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be a good listener, having the ability to receive instructions over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to complete all technical training requirements, lockout tagout, etc.
Must be able to become certified on operating forklift, scissor lift snorkel lift and overhead crane.
