Works closely with Sales Management Team (Bookstore / Collegiate Retail) across all brands (Champion, Under Armour, GEAR, Alternative Apparel and Comfort Wash), Sales Reps, Independent and Lease distribution channels (i.e. Follett & FLC) and various departments within the organization. Position will be responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating Sales Meetings, working with Buying groups, creating and reviewing sales reports as required, arranging customer visits, coordinating sales rep training, and managing trade show functions.
+ Provide relevant business analysis reporting bi-weekly, monthly, yearly to the Sales Team on a regular scheduled basis.
+ Provide Administrative support to the Sales Team and serve as a communication link to Customer Service and other internal departments.
+ Maintain sales data integrity in Oracle, including: customer type, class sales reps and territory.
+ Provide an Administrative communication link to key industry organizations. Such as ICBA and C2One buying groups.
+ Provide assistance to Lease Sales Distribution Channel of business (i.e. Follett & FLC)
+ Coordinate and distribute pricing / art information for Event Business
+ Coordinate and distribute monthly communication to the sales force (Sales Drives)
+ Field phone calls and emails from customer service, sales reps and management. Answer questions, research problems and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
+ Coordinate National Sales Meeting; initialize all planning and logistics of meeting. Arranging all meals, travel activities during meeting, creating itineraries, gift selection for sales reps and set up and tear down. After the meeting, provide analysis of expenditures and suggestions on how to improve for next year's meeting.
+ Work with Sales Managers to develop fiscal divisional budget based on review of expenditures for the division. As well as review monthly financial information to ensure coding is correct and we are in line with budget to help with divisions P&L.
+ Arrange customer visits: travel itinerary, coordinate schedule with internal staff, arrange meals, gather customer gifts, coordinate signs and name badges, circulate internal customer visit form to upper management.
+ Coordinate new sales rep training: travel itinerary, coordinate schedule with internal staff, create training itinerary, arrange meals, provide sample coordinator necessary information, order appropriate sales tools.
+ Report yearly profitability. Work with internal staff to obtain necessary information. Compile information and enter into profitability models for each individual customer requested.
+ Assist Brand team with programs and enter/maintain bi-annual pricing.
+ Help facilitate Spring/Fall samples with Sample Coordinator.
+ Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred
+ Two years of experience working in an administrative role with customer service experience OR a current GEAR employee with the understanding of GEAR's current systems and software packages
+ Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
